Slowly, one day at a time with a gradual increase of a few minutes each new day to build stamina will get those hormones kicked in again, and infuse one with more energy.
Small changes could be made, including parking a block farther than usual for the extra bit of walk, taking the stairs and making it a habit, doing more housework, and even shopping – a typical trip to the mall can mean 45 to 60 minutes of walk! And sale seasons are especially good – the lucrative buys makes the walk even faster – burning more calories!
Finally, crunches for the stomach are very effective in melting away the flab. Jogging in place and even brisk walking is very effective for addressing the pectoral muscles that then bring about the flat-stomach.
